Prior to joining Transcend, Russell was an analyst in the strategic initiatives group at OneValley Ventures where he researched, evaluated, and recommended startups seeking investments and acceleration services. Previously, he founded Babz, a technology startup providing a unique video messaging experience blending the benefits of synchronous and asynchronous communication.
Russell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami, graduating summa cum laude.
